Motivated by the desire to professionalize the Central Java Furniture industry a group of furniture manufactures from many nations such as Indonesia, France, Germany, America, Australia, England and Holland have joined together with the Jogjakarta government to present an exhibition which is gaining the reputation of being the most inspiring show in Asia.

JFS 2008 is the fourth time that the show has been held and this year, in response to request from many international buyers, the show it is being held in conjuction with the Jogja Export Expo, a complementary goverment organization promoting traditional craft work and producers of interior decoration items.

The balance of exhibits by professional furniture producers and the artistic creations of local craftsmen provide an exellent selction from which international buyers can fulfill their every need.

The show will take place from September, 23th to 27th, 2008 and will be held at the Jogja Exhibition Centre in Jalan Janti Yogyakarta. The show covers 8600 m2 and will be open from 9.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m.
